Best Wedding Venues in Napa & Sonoma
Ten real venues we've shot at, from intimate estates to iconic wineries.

Brindare — St. Helena, CA
Tucked right along Highway 29 near St. Helena, Brindare is an intimate spot with a ceremony site set directly in front of the vineyard. The outdoor seating is gorgeous for golden hour, and the venue's indoor space means late-night dancing stays warm and cozy as the evening cools down.
Meritage Resort — Napa, CA
Meritage is Napa Valley royalty for a reason — couples can get ready, say their vows, and celebrate all on one property. For something truly unique, ask about hosting your reception in the on-site wine caves. It's an intimate, one-of-a-kind setting you won't find anywhere else in the valley.
Trentadue Winery — Geyserville, CA
Located in Geyserville, Trentadue has a European feel — winding paths, grape trellises, and towering cypress trees make the whole property feel warm and personal, while the layout makes it easy for guests to move between spaces.
Carneros Resort and Spa — Napa, CA
Carneros is a favorite for both smaller and larger celebrations, with a hilltop ceremony space that frames the wedding against endless California blue sky. The property offers tents and shaded areas for the reception, so it holds up beautifully no matter your guest count.
Viansa — Sonoma, CA
Viansa feels like a slice of Italy dropped into Sonoma. Set on top of a hill, the winery offers sweeping views of the entire valley, and the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all take place close together — easy for guests, and easy on your timeline.
Triple S Ranch — calistoga, CA
For couples who want to turn their wedding into a weekend, Triple S Ranch is the move. One couple we shot here rented the entire property, put guests up in on-site cabins, hosted a pool party the afternoon before, and even ran a talent show the night before the wedding. It's summer camp energy, with zero curfew on the celebration.
v. Sattui Winery — St. Helena, CA
Another Italian-style winery, this one in St. Helena, V. Sattui has a striking tower and a covered ceremony space, plus a barrel room reception that leans fully into that classic Napa Valley ambiance.
cornerstone — Sonoma, CA
Cornerstone offers a range of stunning backdrops across the property, giving us plenty of variety for photos throughout the day. In-house catering is a nice bonus, and the venue is known for genuinely taking care of its couples from start to finish.
Hans Fahden Vineyards — Calistoga, CA
Set in the hills between Napa and Sonoma, Hans Fahden is all about the greenery. The family that owns the property will drive couples up to the top of the mountain during golden hour for portraits you genuinely can't get anywhere else, and dinner in the wine caves makes the evening feel even more special.
Vine hill house — Sebastapol, CA
A smaller Sonoma estate, Vine Hill House has a ceremony site tucked into a grove of trees overlooking the vineyard. During cocktail hour, couples can slip away for a few minutes of golden hour portraits in the vines — some of our favorite quiet moments happen right here.
Don't Have a Venue Yet?
Consider a Private Estate
If a traditional winery isn't quite your vibe, some of our favorite weddings have taken place at private estates, Airbnbs, and rental properties throughout Napa and Sonoma. These spaces offer more flexibility, more privacy, and often a more personal feel — and we're always happy to talk through whether one might be a good fit for your day.
